Quick update from Sofia

Am through 5 classes already. have at least 2 tomorrow, 1 on Friday and then they’ll be assessed on Friday afternoon. I’ll be very disappointed if they don’t all pass LOLOL (I’m actually NOT kidding)

The students are all really nice and they laugh with me (I hope its with me) when I make a joke which is v good for the ego LOL!

So for the last 2 nights I’ve been very lazy, I haven’t gone out after work or anything. Monday night I got room service. Last night I ate in the hotel bar (The food is v good here but its at least double the price of the restaurants in town) Tonight the plan is to eat in the exec lounge in the hotel (Everything is free there, I don’t have access but one of the others trainers who is staying here does and they’ve invited me along so we’ll be eating and drinking there hehe) Not sure if there’s a plan to go anywhere after but we were all invited to a party tonight so we’ll see. Today we ate in a lovely restaurant called Egg Lake City which is in the business park. I got a panini with chicken, dijon mustard, pickled cucumber and something else I can’t remember. It was really good. It cost 3.50 BGN which I think is €1:75. Not sure if I mentioned it before but there is a hotel, cinema, clothes shops and lots of other restaurants in the business park. I wouldn’t stay in that hotel though cos its practically on the doorstep of work and even though it takes up to an hour to get back to the hotel in a taxi. I like that time as its a good time to unwind :) Tomorrow for lunch we are going to Vittoria which is one of the 4 restaurants in the cinema complex which is in the business park. The pizza there is GORGEOUS – I ate there twice the last time I was here

OK off to put on my shoes and head down to the lounge. Have a nice evening

Back in Sofia

Hi all! Just a quick post to say that I’m back in Sofia to deliver training (God love the students I’m going to have) My flight landed at 2:30PM (12:30 Irish time :) ) and it took about another hour to get my luggage and be driven to the hotel. The hotel was fully booked when I tried to book but they had 1 guest room “plus” left so I booked it which got me a free airport transfer in. I just hope there isn’t an issue with that when i go to claim my expenses. If there is an issue this will definitely DEFINITELY be my last trip out here. The room looks like the last one I had but its a corner one so I have a view of the mountains and over the city. I was told that the weather is really good here at the moment. Today has been a little bit cloudy but mainly sunny and it was 16 degrees :) The sun is starting to set at the moment. I’ll try to get some nice photos of it to post but I’m not holding out much hope knowing my camera. I’m going to have 9 students this week (more than double from the last time which is a scary thought for me) They did warn me that some of the groups they’ve had has been at least 20 so maybe I’m getting off lightly!!!

What did I do at the weekend? Friday night: 3 bottles of red wine with dinner which was just fantastic (Always in when S cooks which is all the time LOL). For starters (which I made) it was brown bread (Sean’s brown from Superquinn if you get to try its very nam nam) with white crab meat :) For main course it was tuna steaks (You really should try them they’re amazing) with lime / lemon and chilli’s dressing (7UP!! LOL – kidding) dressing,  red peppers and courgettes. For dessert I had a chocolate chip cake and S had lemon cheesecake (we bought 2 desserts cos S isn’t a big fan of choclit – not like me!!) Saturday morning we went to see Vantage Point, I definitely recommend it its very good. Got buttery popcorn and munchies (nam nam nam) Then to Boots to pick up toiletries for my trip (And S’s as he had to go to the UK for 1 night, he’s back to the dog tonight) After that headed home to get S’s clothes ready for his trip and also to do some housework. For dinner on Saturday had roast chicken (Free range – Hugh Hairy got to me the week he done his experiment) and Sausage meat stuffing. No need for any veggies cos the stuffing left me stuffed. It was GORGEOUS. For dessert that night I had chocolate fudge brownies (From Superquinn) After dinner we spent Saturday night watching the stuff we’d recorded during the week (Sky + is just brilliant) we watched Torchwood, Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares USA, America’s got talent (?!) and I can’t actually remember what else we watched :S

Sunday: Up around 11ish, cleaned out the rabbits (my favourite job – not!!!) helped S pack (Only took 5 minutes hehe) He left around 2:30 and after that I finished off the housework before sitting down to watch Lipstick Jungle (new series from the creator of Sex and the city – not bad) I’ve been downloading it as its not on here yet. I only started to download it cos I seen an ad for it in a taxi in NYC but I do like it. After that I watched Jericho (Season 2 episode 4 which I downloaded, I am REALLY glad CBS agreed to do another series of it!) after that i watched barnyard and some other things (just flicking) I was in bed by  9:30 cos I had to be up at 4:30 this morning!!! I hate being up that early. Toby wasn’t too pleased about the time either. My mum took care of him today so he wouldn’t be home all day by himself. S isn’t expecting to get home until after 9 so thank fuck she could take care of him today. Update from her is that he ate OK and he wanted to play lots which is great. Sometimes when we’re not there Toby won’t eat for her but at least he was OK today and S will be back home with him tomorrow. I’m going to miss S like hell over the next few days. While I’m sitting here in the hotel room on my own I wonder why on earth I agreed to come out here. At least I’m only here until Saturday.

OK well thats it from me. Hope your Mondays weren’t too painful. Have a nice evening

As you may have gathered from my last post things are very quiet in work. I was very bold last week and bought a couple of things on Amazon and eBay while things are quiet Here’s some photos of them.

March 3rd 2008

I am slipping again! OK not going to apologise this time but I really have no excuse for not writing. I have had none or very little work to do in the past couple of weeks. You can really see now that things have started to wind down in the department I work for. I know all the people who take calls are working their butts off. More and more teams are starting to leave and soon I think the buildings will be a ghost town. Right so first things first! The Sofia trip. I flew out on Sunday 3rd of February. I flew through Prague, it takes approx 2 hours to get there. I was in the airport for 2 hours before flying to Sofia which took another 2 hours!!! In that time I would’ve almost been in New York (Or Kerry on a bad day!!) I got to Sofia at 10PM. Once I got my bags I went out to arrivals. The hotel had sent a car for me so that I wouldn’t have to try to explain to a taxi driver where I was going. It only took 15 minutes to get to the hotel so I got there at 10:30PM Bulgarian time (8:30PM GMT) and checked in. I had been warned that it could take up to an hour to get from the airport to the hotel so I was very lucky there was NO TRAFFIC at all at that time!! As I was checking in 2 of the trainers who had been in Dublin with our team to learn the classes arrived back from dinner. They invited me for a drink in the hotel bar once I’d got my luggage upstairs etc. I tried the local Rakia which is very strong – approx 40% proof! Tastes quite nice but between the jet lag (I’d only flown back from the US the day before), tiredness and the fact I was worried about starting training, I have to say it went straight to my head and all I wanted to do was sleep. I chatted with the 2 guys for about an hour or so and got to bed at 1AM. We agreed to meet for brekkie the next morning at 7AM so I was up at 6:30 to get ready.
Work day 1
Brekkie was lovely and I definitely needed my caffeine fix LOL. We left in a taxi for the office at 8AM. It took us 45 minutes to get there because of the traffic. I met some of the Team Leaders and agents that used to be based in Dublin and it was nice to have a quick catch up with them. We agreed to start my first class at 1PM which gave me time for a tour of the building and have lunch before we started. Then I met my students, 2 girls and 2 guys which was a nice small group and they were all really nice. They were very attentive. I have to say though systems and process training is VERY boring and by the 2nd full day I was fed up listening to the sound of my own voice – yeuchhh!!
I worked until around 6 that night. It took us 40 minutes to get back to the hotel!!!! Seriously traffic over there is crazy during rush hours. Ate dinner (Chicken on flat bread) in the hotel that night cos we were all knackered and it was only MONDAY! After dinner I went back to my room, went on the web for a while and talked to my great fiancé
Work day 2
Up at 6:30, had brekkie and left at 8AM. Class started at 10AM and I was talking solidly until 1!!! Broke up for lunch (Got pizza from pizza hut – It was nam nam) Back at 2PM and again talked solidly until 4:30 or so! Back to “my” desk to check my work e-mail etc and we left work at 6:30 and again it took 45 minutes to get back to the hotel. I had 20 minutes to get ready to go out for dinner. We went to a fantastic traditional restaurant. It was like it was in someone’s house and we were in their dining room (Each table was set up the same) All the trainers were out that night and some of the project execs. The manager paid for our dinner! I had goats cheese to start, chicken for main course and a traditional Bulgarian cake for dessert. It was all fantastic. The execs and some of the trainers went on to a pub after but I have to admit I was tired so I was tucked up and reading Russell Brand’s autobiography in bed by 11!!
Work day 3
Guess how I started my day?!? Yep up at 6:30, met the trainers for brekkie and then left in a taxi at 8AM! We went to a cinema for lunch this day. The cinema which is in the business park and around the corner from the office has 4 floors of restaurants! I had a fantastic pepperoni pizza and lots of Coca Cola :) After lunch I continued with the boring training (sorry but it really was BORING) until around 5. That night left the office at 6:30 and it took us an hour to get back to the hotel. Had just enough time to change before heading out for dinner. That night I had mozzarella, basil and oil for starters. For main course I had chicken stuffed with crab meat. No room for dessert but it was fantastic! After that we went to an Irish bar (LOL) to see the matches. The big screen was showing the Northern Ireland / Bulgaria match. One of the smaller screens was showing the Ireland / Brazil match which I couldn’t see from where I was standing and the other was showing the England / ?? match which the trainers wanted to see (YAWN as I don’t really like football) Anyhoo eventually got back to the hotel at 1:30 and we had 1 more drink in the hotel bar so got to bed at 2:30 (I think) I was sooo tired at that stage
Work day 4
Same routine as the rest of the week. Up at 6:30, brekkie in the hotel, leave at 8AM for the office. This was the last full day of training which was a very good thing. The students were very attentive and really nice and everything but there’s only so much talking you can do! Class went on from 10 – 5. I think the students were really happy cos they only had short days that week. For lunch we went to the supermarket and I can’t remember what I ate that day for lunch. Think it was junk food. At 5:45 one of the trainers and I said we were leaving at 6. We were still waiting for the others at 6:30 so we just left. I think they had called an unexpected meeting or something but still. Got back to the hotel, had a quick shower and headed down to the hotel bar to eat. I had pitta bread for starters, chicken on flat bread (it was SO GOOD) for my main course and raspberry cheesecake for dessert – it was all fantastic! I actually made it back to my room for 9PM. I went online for a couple of minutes, spoke to my mum and my fiancé on the phone and then had a lovely bath. Was in bed by 10 with my book :o )
Work day 5
Up at 6:30, met the guys for brekkie. Another of the trainers had just arrived back from a holiday so we had a quick catch up. Left at 8 for the office. Got there at 9:15 or thereabouts – traffic was really bad that morning!! No training today, I was just assessing the students and I am very happy to say that they all passed! Had lunch with 2 of the trainers in the pizza place in the cinema – again it was really good. After lunch I left the office and went “exploring” I only took a couple of photos (they’re on my bebo if you want to have a nose!!) and I didn’t buy anything either :-O
Got back to the hotel at 4 and chilled out, watched CNN, checked e-mail etc before getting ready to go out. Didn’t know what the plan was but I ended up going out with the Italian team for dinner. Got back to the hotel at 1AM (Didn’t go to the club with the others because I was going to back up at 6:30 to get my flight HOME (I was so happy you’ve no idea) Bought S and my mum presents in the duty free before sleeping all the way back to Prague and then all the way back to Dublin. I was just so happy to be home!!!
The past couple of weeks in work has been really quiet but as far as I know we’re not going to be there much longer. Update about me is that they want to talk to me further. I think its cos i’ve travelled once so it’ll be interesting to see what they say. I hope to have an update this week so I’ll let you know (Once I know)
What else has been happening? Last film I seen was Sweeney Todd and I enjoyed it which I didn’t expect to. S and I were the only people in the cinema!!! That was strange I have to say.
Other than that, I’ve been catching up on my favourite TV shows (And some new ones) walking the dog, etc etc but all in all things are VERY QUIET at the moment.
I can’t believe its March already.

New York – Part 2

Day 4

Slept late today, well 10AM LOL. Followed the usual starbucks routine – we got into that routine very quickly. The order was always a butter croissant and grande Americano with an extra espresso shot for me and S’s was always a blueberry muffin and a grande caramel latte – in case you were interested ;-) Walked across Madison to Fifth avenue and then up Fifth avenue (or is it down? – haven’t a clue!) to the entrance of Central park (beside the Plaza hotel / Grand Army Plaza) and walked by the pond – got lots of really nice photos. Sean got obsessed taking photos of a squirrel hehe. Got some really good photos of the city from the park too, it’s a lovely place and I’d say it would be packed during the summer months, it was quite busy when we were there. Walked around the pond, past Wollmann rink. If you’re ever there take a look at the plates on the benches. I know it sounds strange! Most of them were for in memory of family or friends but some of them were very sweet. For example there was one that said For Noodling, it gave me a giggle anyhoo. From there we walked past the Hecksher playground and baseball fields. Down past the Carousel (which I went on but thankfully there’s no photos of that) we followed the path / road down as far as Strawberry fields (a 2.5 acre tribute to John Lennon) We left the park at W72nd St(I think it was across from the Dakota building) and got a hot dog and a bottle of Coke from a street vendor. We ate the hot dogs which was fabulous by the way on a bench with the February sunshine beaming down on us and all the yellow taxi’s zooming by. Crossed the street to the subway station and took a subway to 34th street and Macy’s. I actually didn’t get anything there though I was still trying to get my Uggs (which Macy’s don’t stock) and a Nine West laptop bag – which they were all out of :-( We ate lunch in the Cellar there (the hot dog was too small to fill me up) I had a steak and mushroom flat bread and S had a huge burger. For dessert (At lunch I know) I had NY cheesecake. The store had a cookery demo on while we were there. I think we were told they burned what they were cooking triggering the fire alarm. The servers ran around to every table telling them it was a false alarm but the lights and the alarm going off was kinda scary!! Anyway we all got out safely LOL. Sean bought his mum a Martha Stewart turkey baster LOL and that was it. By then I was starting to feel completely knackered so we headed back to the hotel (By taxi this time – my feet were zinging they were that sore) when we got back to the hotel we slept LOL! I was very full after lunch at Macy’s so we didn’t bother going out for something to eat. We left the hotel around 9 and went to Charley O’s for drinks. Left there around 1:30 with some new friends (People from Ireland & UK and also the manager of Charley O’s) and we went to the Playwright across the road. I know people from Ireland always somehow manage to meet in NY but the barman there (when he visits Dublin rather than Kerry where he’s from) always drinks in the bar where I had my 21st. Anyhow once we made the connections LOL he knocked a coupla rounds off the bill! It was a big deal for me meeting someone who knew the bar more so when I’m thousands of miles from home (and kinda drunk – damned those electric green shots the barman in Charley’s gave us for free LOL) so that night was fun, got to bed at 5:30, I think I just passed out to be honest.

Day 5 (last day – sob!)

Woke at 11, dry mouth, still drunk, not good when check out is at 11. Got up finished packing, had shower, dressed. Thankfully Sean used the TV to check us out of the room so no chit chat with the Receptionist. Left the room just after 12 and headed downstairs. The concierge took care of our cases and we had a chat – he was 3rd generation Irish (I think) and full of chat which neither of us were really able for. I’m sure we stunk of drink – ah well. So he took our cases and we were going to head out, we stuck our heads out the door, it was P*SSING rain so we went back inside and ate in Oscar’s (Brasserie in the hotel) I got the Waldorf salad (For those of you who watch Fawlty Towers this may seem very amusing it certainly was for me – until I got the salad) I should have ordered the Caesar salad because the Waldorf just looked like Coleslaw made up of 2 kinds of apples, celery and walnuts in a Mayo sauce. The plate was just full of Coleslaw. Anyhow I managed to heat half of it, drank lots of water and Pepsi. Then we went on our way, collected our luggage and took a taxi to JFK. The taxi had one of the little TV’s in the back which kept me occupied on the way out. S slept :-( got to the airport, checked in (its so quick and easy) thought I was going to be sick but the feeling passed quickly enough. Done some shopping in the duty free (Cigarettes for my mum just) I was tempted to buy another watch but I was very well behaved. I did buy some sweets, pepsi and water for the flight home though and that was it for me. S picked up a I LOVE NY thermos mug :-) Then we went through security. For those of you who know me you know I always wear loooong trousers. I had to lift my trousers up going through security so they could see my feet :-S sat at the gate for an hour before boarding. Couldn’t wait to fall asleep I was so tired. We got on the plane and I was very happy to discover that we had individual screens to watch movies or listen to music. I watched Hairspray (again) a couple of episodes of Sex and the city, a Father Ted and then fell asleep. I think I was still drunk getting on the flight! Not long after the meal was served (which we both refused cos we just wanted to sleep) one of the cabin crew came over to me and he was like are you Sarah? Is F your mum? Did you grow up in “certain part of Dublin” and I was like yes, yes and yes. Turns out he lived around the corner from me and I hadn’t seen him in about 8 or 9 years so didn’t recognise him at all!!! I knew his brother better and his brother and mum used to work as cleaners in the building I work in now LOL anyhow after I figured out who he was and we had a quick “how are you” catch up he said that he’d look after us during the flight (You know beer, wine, soft drinks etc for nothing but both of us said there’s no way we’d be able to drink so I had to say thank you very much but no thanks) ah wellNot long after that I fell asleep on S’s arm. I think I drooled cos when I woke up his arm was wet (not good!!) but thankfully he just laughed it offArrived back in Dublin at 5.30AM – Even though the flight was 30 minutes late taking off due to bad winds / rain in NY we were home on time :-) Once we collected our luggage, we got a taxi home. When we got in I sorted out some washing (that I wanted to take with me to Sofia the next day) and stuck that wash on. Then we went upstairs and woke Toby. My mum took care of him while we were in NY – even took time off work to do so LOL. OMG we got such a response, it wasn’t even just his tail that was wagging it was his whole body :-) so after he’s greeted us both, covering us with licks I have to say, we went back downstairs for some brekkie. Then fell asleep on the couches. Got up at 1 and went to the local shopping centre so I could get toiletries etc for my Sofia trip.I think I’ve done enough typing for one day so I’ll tell you all about Sofia tomorrowHAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY to you all :o )

NY – Part one

Before I start on my NY adventure I just want to say my grandparents are married 52 years today – awwww!!! OK read on to see what I got up to on my first couple of days in the Big Apple…

Day 1

Left Dublin at 10:30AM, arrived at NY JFK at around 1ish (6 GMT) Collected our luggage and took a taxi to the hotel (Waldorf Astoria!!!) OMG the hotel is AMAZING!! Once we checked in and had a nose around the room, we walked from the hotel which is on Park Avenue, across Madison Avenue to 5th. First stop – Saks – where the only thing I bought was a snow globe (http://www.saksfifthavenue.com/main/ProductDetail.jsp?FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=282574492703231&PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=845524443725659&R=662130094818&P_name=Saks+Fifth+Avenue&sid=1181362A1675&ASSORTMENT%3C%3East_id=1408474399545537&bmUID=1202916086601) We left Saks and continued on down Fifth avenue, went to the Disney store and I bought a Thumper teddy and a round Pooh soft teddy (For Toby!) I also got some lollipops – didn’t take any photos there this time as there was waaay too many people around. From there we strolled up past Tiffany’s (Did a little window shop but didn’t go in :-( , Trump towers and on down to the Apple cube store where we picked up the iPod touch for G (€100 less than Ireland even with NY sales tax) Started to feel a little bit tired so we headed back to the hotel. Didn’t even go into FAO Schwartz for a look around! On the way back we stopped at Sym’s on Park Avenue (Discount store kinda like century 21 but I don’t think its as good) Found a Pret a Manger (UK chain) and bought fresh juice LOL! Got back to the hotel and chilled for a while. We ate in the hotel that night too (Bull & Bear restaurant which was v good) Bed by 11 :-O

Day 2

Up at 8AM, showered and out on the sidewalk (LOL) by 8:45. On the way to Empire state building we stopped at a Starbucks on 5th Avenue. It was an overcast and foggy today (so its probably not the best time to try to see the city from the 80 somethingth floor) However, the sun started to come out and we got some very nice photos of the city. From there we went to Macy’s (stopping on the way for a slice of really good pepperoni pizza for refuelling) There I bought a lovely Guess watch. I was very well behaved because before I left I had picked 3 I was going to buy in Macy’s !!! After that we took the subway to Century 21. Got lost on the way and came out at Tribeca (Triangle Below Canal Street apparently). Eventually found another subway station and got the subway to the right stop, walked up Wall Street to Century 21 and Ground Zero (Which you can’t see much of on the Century 21 side cos it’s a construction site) I don’t think it’s as peaceful and chilling as it felt the last time I was there but that might just be me. So into century 21 we went. OMG the place was chaotic. I queued for over 40 minutes at a checkout – must have been CRAZY! There I bought 2 handbags (1 Guess, 1 Nine west – still being very good I tell ya)) S bought his brother and his dad a wallet each and his brother’s girlfriend a small Tommy Hilfiger bag. I also got a Yankees top for the dog LOL he looks soooooo cute in it. Eventually left there and took the subway back to the hotel around 4ish. Took it easy for a while before getting ready and heading out to dinner. We ate at the Red Eye grill which is very near Times Square – the food there is amazing, if you’re ever in NY you have to try it seriously! From there, we went to Charley O’s (our favourite bar when we were in NY the last time) S drank beer and I drank cocktails (Big apples and Cosmopolitans – nam nam)Got back to the hotel around 12 and conked out :o

 Day 3

Up at 8:30, showered and left the hotel (Lexington avenue side with view of Chrysler building) Again we stopped for Starbucks on the way. Walked to Bloomingdales in the pouring rain – I was on a quest for a pair of Uggs as there over €150 cheaper in the US than here. Got there didn’t find them but did buy a little brown bag and S got moisturiser – the sales man was HILARIOUS !!! Once we left there, took the subway to Coney Island. The Atlantic was WILD and there was winds of up 50MPH that day (Apparently 1 guy was killed when he fell from the building he was working on) Anyhoo, the boardwalk was fairly deserted that morning, it looked as if we were the only 2 people foolish enough to be there) Got some great photos of the sea and the Cyclone (the amusement park has not closed down though) left after 40 minutes and spent an hour on the subway until we were back at Times Square. There took lots of photos before picking up Ess’s gobstoppers in Virgin and then going to Hershey’s for choccie :o ) went to M&M world too – got Peanut butter M&M’s – they’re GORGEOUS !!! Had pizza then in Sbarro’s on Times Square before walking back to the hotel. Took it easy for a while before getting ready for dinner. We ate in a restaurant called Oceana that night with people S knows from work. That night we ate a 9 course meal and we requested the wine be paired with each course. OMG what an experience it was FANTASTIC!!! Back in the hotel and in bed by 1 :-)

Its home time for me now so will finish my NY adventure tomorrow and fill you all in on Sofia

Have a lovely Wednesday

FRIDAY (AT LAST!)

Firstly I’d like to with Lou all the best in her driving test today!  YAY!  Friday’s finally here!!! Just 3 more days and I’ll be sitting in Dublin Airport waiting for the flight to JFK to be called. I was going to say I never thought Friday would get here. In a way that is how I feel but on the other hand this week has been one of the quickest (work wise) in a loooong time :) I’ve actually been busy, learning new things and getting ready for the trip to Sofia

So I think it’ll be a couple of weeks before I write anything, I don’t think I’ll be writing over the weekend as I’ll more than likely be flying around like a blue a*sed fly LOL! After that it depends on what connectivity is like in Sofia and I still haven’t decided if I want to bring my laptop with me to NYC!

Enjoy the start of the new season of Lost (if you’re a fan – just a week to go YAY!)

Hope you all have a very happy Friday and a lovely weekend

Lazy Sunday…

… Is what I hope to have today. I done more than enough housework yesterday so today is about vegging :) Although I wouldn’t object if we were to go out for Sunday lunch! Sure we’ll see what the day brings

So I’m getting really excited about NYC, just over 8 days to go. I really can’t wait for it (But I’m sure you could already tell) I’ve already been given lists of things that people want us to bring back (Ess I haven’t forgotten the gobstoppers) I pretty much have planned what clothes etc I want to bring with me. I really need to be this organised because the day after we get back from NYC I’m going to Sofia, Bulgaria for just over a week with work. I didn’t mention it before on this because it wasn’t actually for definite but as of last Friday it is. I’m going to be delivering systems & processes training to new starters. I was terrified that I was going to have huge classes with some mental and unmanageable number, but (thankfully) that’s not the case.

Anyhoo I hope you all have a lovely and lazy Sunday. I’ll leave you with a new photo of Toby :)

Stress relief (perhaps?)

I’ve had this ages and it still makes me giggle! Give it a go in the manic mode :)

http://uk.download.yahoo.com/ne/fu/attachments/bubblewrap.swf

Its still dark and windy outside which makes me feel like I’m in work in the middle of the night LOL! I’m sitting here with my lovely steaming hot coffee (Starbucks Americano) catching up on emails etc. The building in particular is very VERY quiet at this moment in time as there’s almost no one around as yet but it’ll be alive soon enough.

Anyhoo, hope you all have a good Thursday.

???

Last week I told someone that I was going to try to keep this up and write something every day even if it was just my song of the day, the one that gets stuck in my head in the morning and won’t leave, it makes me want to sing out loud, which I would do if no one could hear me :o ) 2 things happened, work got busy (shock! Horror!) and I couldn’t think of anything to actually write down.

So as I said work is actually busy at the mo! Its not with my usual job, I am doing extra at the moment to get ready for my trip next month – me writing and delivering training, I’m terrified I’m going to be crap!
